The Department of Justice has given up their decade long chase of baseball superstar Barry Bonds. Bonds remains the greatest baseball player I have ever seen.
Barry Bonds, knowingly or not, used steroids, and I do not care. I am absolutely not a sports fan, but Barry made the game of baseball come alive for me. The amazing final years of his career were an absolute pleasure to watch. I was lucky to be living in San Francisco at the time and I doubt I will ever again see such an amazing athlete take the field. I lost interest in baseball when he left.
Congratulations, Barry. I hope you are elected to the Hall of Fame soon!
