Video: How do pygmy seahorses end up on matching corals?

Pygmy seahorses come in many colors, and biologists wondered whether they seek out coral that matches perfectly, or changed color somehow to match the coral they find.

Biologists at the California Academy of Sciences have finally bred them in captivity successfully, then put the dark colored babies of orange seahorses in with a vibrant purple sea fan. The babies changed color to match the fan.
