The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.: the complete series

I never get tired of watching this brilliant 1990s take on the Wild Wild West, starring the always fantastic Bruce Campbell.

Brisco County, Jr. is a Harvard educated laywer, futurist and bounty hunter, searching the old west for the gang that killed his father, a famed U.S. Marshall played by R. Lee Ermey. The series ran for 27 episodes on Fox, back in the days when Fox barely had programming 3 nights a week. The humor was fantastic and the blend of futurism with old west legend was wonderful. Julius Carry's Lord Bowler, named after his hat, and Socrates Poole, played by Christian Clemenson are the perfect sidekicks for Brisco.

I had lost track of this wonderful show until I found this complete DVD set. Thank god I don't have to watch the stuff they are making now.
