Internet man sits and smiles at camera for hundreds of hours

For more than a year, once every week or so, Benjamin Bennett sets up his video camera, sits in front of it, and smiles at it for four hours straight while recording.

He livestreams this on Google Hangouts, then saves the recording to his YouTube channel. There are over a hundred recordings– nearly a month of sitting and smiling footage.

His first "Sitting and Smiling" video was uploaded July 28, 2014. There are now 136 videos in the series.

Why Benjamin does this isn't clear, and he's not telling. Some people speculate that it's some form of meditation. In July he turned down an offer to be interviewed about it on cable comedy show Tosh.0. (Good move, Benjamin, that show is a disgrace).

I kind of like the mystery. Keep smiling!
