Tea party exemplar Josh Duggar is being sued for roughing up a woman

Beloved reality TV star and noted child molester Josh Duggar is idolized as a cherished paragon of traditional family values by presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and other social conservatives. The Tea Party darling is now being sued for half a million dollars by a woman he paid to have sex with.

In the court papers, Adult film star Danica Dillon (legal name: Ashley Stamm-Northup) claims Duggar committed battery against her twice, and she is asking for $500,000.

Ms. Dillon was working at a strip club in Philadelphia when she met Duggar. She says he paid her $600 for several lap dances, and that he gave her an additional $1,500 to have sex with her in a hotel room. In her complaint, Dillon says Duggar "manhandled" her so viciously that she felt like she was being raped.

Later, Duggar returned to the strip club to "apologize" to Dillon, but the suit alleges that "his motive for the 'apology' was to deceive Plaintiff into another private meeting with her where he engaged in identical tortious conduct causing Plaintiff to suffer severe emotional and physical damages."

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children were stars of the TLC television network's 19 Kids and Counting. The show was canceled this year after news leaked that Josh Duggar molested very young girls when he was a teenager.

TLC announced that the Duggar family is returning to the network with at least two specials, the first of which will air by the end of the year.
