"Donald Trump and Ted Cruz warned fellow Republicans Wednesday of dire consequences if the GOP establishment attempts to have a brokered convention this summer," CNN reports.
"I think you'd have riots. I think you'd have riots," Trump said today on CNN's show "New Day."
"I'm representing a tremendous many, many millions of people," he added.
"If you disenfranchise those people, and you say, 'I'm sorry, you're 100 votes short'," Trump said to CNN host Chris Cuomo, "I think you'd have problems like you've never seen before. I think bad things would happen."
A prediction? A promise? A threat? All of the above?

Marco Rubio out of the race, said that even if he doesn't amass a majority of delegates by July, the party should unite behind him anyway. But Trump has a ways to go when it comes to getting to the magic number of 1,237.
