The ACP is a homophobic group that uses its deceptive name to tell lawmakers that trans kids have a mental disorder that's just a phase that'll go away with time, and that the high suicide rate among trans people is caused by surgical procedures rather than discrimination.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated it a "hate group."
