I do wish these sports enthusiasts would lay off all the quick cutting and let the full run play at length sometimes. I suspect it's just the result of getting aesthetically acclimated to that kind of artless garbage editing on YouTube, etc. Here's some more in the French Alps, nearly brushing against sheer cliff faces.
