Simon Smith was walking beside a bus stop in Reading, Berkshire, on Saturday when he was hit from behind by a double-decker.
The 53-year-old was thrown down the street when the vehicle careered onto the pavement and ploughed straight into him.
The impact of his head hitting the windscreen shattered the glass, yet he got up from the pavement seconds later… and went to the pub.
