Jerry and Marina Leussink of Sundre, Alberta didn't have a farm pond, so they build a custom pool-like pond lined with inch-thick plastic.
Everyone comes by to swim in the summer and skate in the winter. Includes all the DIY steps they had to take.
Originally, the pond was not lined, but the weeds prompted them to set up the lining and pump system. Looks very inviting, and the rock holding down the lining is beautifully landscaped.
