![]() Chickens and roosters are all over the island. The roosters start crowing around 2:30 am. It bugged us at first, but now we sleep right through the cock-a-doodle-do's. It reminds me of when we were living above Sunset Boulevard and the punters leaving the Whisky A Go Go would wake us up at 2:00 am every night until we got used to it.Previous photo. Next photo. | On June 21, 2003, Mark Frauenfelder and Carla Sinclair moved from Los Angeles to the South Pacific. Our first stop is Rarotonga, a tiny island in the South Pacific. We're bringing our two young daughters with us.
