Roger Ebert's memoir is going to become a movie that might be awkward for him to review

Legendary movie critic Roger Ebert just spilled the Twitter beans that his 2011 memoir, Life Itself, was just optioned to be turned into a documentary by Hoop Dreams director Steve James and Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian (Moneyball, Gangs of New York, Schindler's List). Martin Scorcese will serve as executive producer. No word yet on whether Mr. Ebert will recuse his thumbs when this movie is released. (via Flavorwire) Jamie
