The wonderfully mysterious Athanasius Kircher Society is holding its Inaugural Meeting on Tuesday, January 16, at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. According to the Society's Proceedings, the event will be "a showcase of wonders, curiosities, and esoterica, inspired by the spirit of Father Kircher." At $12, this looks like an amazing, entertaining, extravaganza that would even impress PT Barnum.
