Apple claims it had the biggest number of preorders ever (over 600,000) with the iPhone 4 yesterday. After years of holding out, I am finally joining the masses and got one myself. I tried and failed to sign up online at ATT and Apple's web sites, so finally decided to bike down to the ATT store and do it there. The guy at the store told me I'd get my phone between June 25-July 5; then I got this nice little email telling me sometime between June 24 and June 28. This NY Times article claims they will ship around July 2. I think this means that nobody really knows for sure — I'll keep you posted on when I get mine.
