Vaseline has introduced an app for Facebook India which allows users to lighten the skin color in their profile pictures. The app is intended to promote the launch of a new Vaseline cosmetic in the Indian market, aimed at consumers who wish to lighten their complexions. L'Oreal, Nivea and other companies offer similar skin care products for the Indian market.
