Gris Grimly is directing a Jim Henson/Guillermo Del Toro adaptation of Pinocchio. Grimly illustrated my all-time favorite edition of Pinocchio, really capturing the dark, perverse humor of Collodi's original. Judging from this sneak peek at a replica of one of marionettes to be used in the stop-motion production, it's going to be faithful to his weird and wonderful vision.
