The Art of Brandi Milne
A preview of the painter's June 14, 2014 gallery show.
I met the delightful Brandi Milne at a Baby Tattooville event a couple of years ago. I ran into her again at an amazing magic/performance weekend called Beyond Brookledge (look at the neat lanyard pass she designed for the event) and she told me about her upcoming art show in LA, which will be produced by Corey Helford Gallery. Here are the details, and some samples of her cool work. I hope to see you there!

From Zheleznogorsk's flag depicting a bear splitting an atom (the city started as a plutonium mining-town) (yours for $60!) to Domnovskoye's stark eagle claw to Syaskelevskoe's drunken bull to Khoroshyovo-Mnyovniki's crudely drawn MS-Paint-style proud beaver, the flags of Russia's states, cities, towns and districts are pretty fabulous; Weird Russia has a giant trawl through them.
