As well as boosting the signal and muscle memory retention, the shaved stripes become a subcultural indicator of sorts."
For the last two days of the Kickstarter backers can pledge $100 for the "Rough Cut" reward and get to sit in on the same session that the writer and the producers see it — in its raw and unpolished form. Or, backers can shave a stripe in their head and get the same access for $5.
