Sci-Fest LA, an incredible one act science fiction play festival held in Los Angeles, is back for 2015! The team needs help with funding this amazing program.

Why Sci-Fest LA Matters to You
Our mission is simple: To create new work that inspires artists and audiences alike to consider our collective future. Our hope is to continue to grow the Festival, eventually moving into a larger venue and becoming a "destination event" attracting Sci-Fi fans from around the globe to Los Angeles. Above all, Sci-Fest LA is fun! Last year, we produced a dynamite Festival that the world-famous Hollywood Reporter called "An inspired notion," concluding that "After seeing the First Annual Sci-Fest, rest assured you'll be hoping for a Second Annual Sci-Fest, and more after that." Our audiences were moved and amazed by last year's Festival and we want to deliver them even more surprises in 2015. We believe in the possibility of Sci-Fest LA to inspire innovative and purposeful thought in every person who participates, volunteers or attends. Please help us insure the future of this awesome annual event by allowing us to hit (or even exceed) our goal of $100,000.00 in 50 days!
Challenges
Producing Science Fiction live on stage requires (a) great material and (b) creative thinking. We are blessed to have an incredibly skilled team of Los Angeles-based producers, directors and designers — All of whom are currently professionally employed in the TV, Film and Theater industries. Between all of us, there aren't many problems we can't solve. This team is backed up 100% by an tireless crew of volunteers and fans who consistently make sure the Festival gets the loving support it needs to succeed. Challenges are inevitable, but the equation for success is always the same: passion + team work.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you're unable to give financially, there are other ways you can help. One way is to be our "voice" in your community by talking about the Festival and re-posting anything you see about us on Facebook or Twitter. Taking the time to personally endorse us to your friends can mean a lot! Sci-Fest LA also needs volunteers to staff events, hand out flyers and do promotional work.
