On long road trips this spill resistant watering bowl keeps my dogs hydrated and my cars dry.
Water sloshing around in the bowl quickly became a soaked floor or carpet. I wanted the dogs to be able to drink whenever they liked, sometimes we take long road trips together, but I didn't want everything in the car soaked. Several years ago I found these great, spill resisting bowls. They are wide and flat, giving lots of stability on the floor. They also have a lid that is designed to keep water in, even in the event of the bowl flipping completely over. It really works.
Having a watering bowl in the car is still no excuse to leave dogs unattended.
