Despite a hard-fought battle to publish the CIA Torture Report, very few people have read it, including some of the report's starring villains.
In a bid to make the report more visible and widely read, John Oliver has asked Academy Award-winning actor Helen Mirren to record an audiobook of the report. I can't find a link to the audiobook itself, but Oliver has excerpts from it in the clip above. I hope he's serious about the audiobook and didn't just commission a few brief passages — I would definitely listen to it. Best idea for audio adaptation since Samuel Jackson's reading of Go the Fuck to Sleep.
