Muralists use an entire hillside of homes as a canvas

As part of a state-funded anti-violence project, Germen Nuevo Muralismo Mexicano turned an entire neighborhood in Pachuca, Mexico into an artwork titled El Macro Mural Barrio de Palmitas.

Painting over 200 houses took about ten weeks once the design was determined. Twitter user Cas Mudde published this before-and-after.

Luis Enrique Gómez Guzmán, aka Mybe, told Al-Jazeera last year, "We are making the world we want to live in, a world where you work and offer talents for the benefit of the common good."
