I'm half way through DJ Molle's recently released, final book in The Remaining series, Extinction. This post-zombie America adventure captures the genre perfectly!
I have loved this series. DJ Molles has told a fantastic tale of post-Zombie America. I've enjoyed the characters, some developed to reasonable depth and others caricatures of a type needed to carry the story along. The change, torment and rationalizations the main story characters take is amazingly fitting, and believable, even when people turn-coat or are tortured into conversion. The action is pounding, and the zombie menace largely believable. The genre doesn't get much better!
If you want to dive into a 6 novel, and several novellas, series on the zombie apocalypse, look no further.
