Exclusive preview: Jeff Lemire's Descender Volume 1: Tin Stars
Jeff Lemire -- creator of the epic apocalyptic graphic novel Sweet Tooth and the dreamy, Twilight-Zonish Underwater Welder -- returns with a new graphic novel, Descender, with Dustin Nguyen -- we're proud to present the entire first issue below!

Jeff and Dustin are accomplishing something special: they're telling a deeply personal and human story set in the stars. Young Robot boy TIM-21 and his companions struggle to stay alive in a universe where all androids have been outlawed and bounty hunters lurk on every planet. Lemire and Nguyen pit humanity against machine, and world against world, to create a sprawling epic. The world building that Jeff and Dustin Nguyen are doing is staggering, but it's the story of Tim and his robotic dog Bandit that really resonate.
