Tiny, 8-bit console designed for hackability and homebrew game development

Pocket CHIP is a tiny, $50, ARM-based pocket games console with a full keyboard and a Bluetooth interface.

It's designed to play classic arcade-style games, with 8-bit graphics, 8×8 sprites, and 32k filesizes for games. The console comes with an SDK that makes it easy to develop your own games. The industrial design is clever and handsome, from the transparent case that displays the $9 CHIP processor and controllers to the joystick port designed to fit a standard #2 pencil.

The underlying code is free/open, and hosted on Github.
