Join me at Politicon 2016, 'The Coachella of Politics' —Xeni

I'm speaking at Politicon, the "Non-Partisan Politics and Entertainment Fan-Fest," June 25-26 in Pasadena. It's gonna be fun AND totally weird in the best way.

Sessions include an "Ann Coulter vs. Van Jones" smackdown, and Jon Ronson asking the timeless question, "Is Donald Trump a Psychopath."

Some of the other politicians, pundits, and possible psychopaths on the schedule: Bill Nye, Sarah Palin, Larry Wilmore, Vicente Fox, James Carville, Glenn Beck. The original Daily Show cast will be in the house, too.

Holy hell, what a lineup. Join me there, and use the Boing Boing discount code BOINGBOING to get 25% off tickets.

Ann Coulter, James Carville, and Sarah Palin are slated to appear at Politicon 2016.

From the organizers:

The national political convention that truly matters isn't in Philadelphia or Cleveland; it's coming to the Pasadena Convention Center June 25th and 26th and it's called Politicon.

What's Politicon? Think Comic-Con or Coachella of politics. It's two days of amazing panels, debates, discussions, and comedy. Face it, you're not going to see James Carville interview Sarah Palin at the Democratic convention, but you'll see it at Politicon. You're not going see Ann Coulter vs Van Jones at the GOP convention…but they'll be going at it live in Pasadena.

Last October over 9000 political junkies attended the first Politicon in LA and this year there are bigger names, and given the election year, much more at stake. Among the names featured this year are Carville and Coulter, Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Barbara Boxer, SNL's Jay Pharoah and Darrell Hammond, Mike Murphy, Paul Begala, Glenn Beck, Mexico Pres. Vicente Fox, Bill Nye, Gov. Gary Johnson, John Ratzenberger, Frank Luntz, Larry Wilmore, Wendy Davis, Grace Parra, S.E. Cupp and Jon Favreau and so many more.
