She makes a smooth recovery, if you ask me, once she realizes what she just did. But it's the suggestion of oops that makes it: it's easy to find photos of politicians and pundits appearing to salute like this, but video showing that crisp, heel-clicking snap are magic. Some believe it was intentional, a dogwhistle a la "Sheriff's Star".
