The Ghost Minitaur is the latest iteration of terrifyingly cute agile legged robots. I for one welcome our doglike robot overlords.
The Minitaur is joystick-controlled right out of the box, and can operate using different gaits. The 2DOF (two degrees of freedom) legs "are good for more than just running. They can sense and exert precise forces, and do basic manipulation." It even uses conventional rotary electric motors.
