Photographer Chris White takes readers behind the scenes of making his surf photography book Dark Light.
Dark Light is a coffee table book (available here: theoceanpeople.com/product/dark-light-limited-pre-sale-offer ) that showcases Chris White's best oceanic images and some short stories about how the ocean has shaped his life and helped him push through adversity. Chris lost his Dad and brother to depression. Mental illness is serious and if untreated can lead to someone taking their own life. In each year one in every four Australians will experience a mental illness. Chris aims to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and to show people, that with a positive mindset you can overcome any challenge.
