The "diamond route" is the company's nickname for regional tourism in three prefectures: Fukushima, Tochigi and Ibaraki north of Tokyo. For many outside of Japan, their only association for Fukushima is the nuclear plant damaged in the 2011 tsunami, but that affected area is about 10% of the prefecture.
