The new Republican health care bill classes rape, PTSD, and domestic abuse as excludable pre-existing conditions

Under The American Health Care Act — presently the subject of a full-court press by House Republicans — insurance companies will be allowed to discriminate against customers who have "pre-existing conditions," refusing to pay for problems stemming from them.

What sort of thing might get you denied care? Oh, just a history of having been raped, subjected to domestic violence, or having PTSD. Also postpartum depression and Cesaraen conditions.

It has the president's full support and backing.

President Trump, who thinks Bill O'Reilly has done nothing wrong, has a litany of sexual harassment claims against him, and is responsible for the quote "grab 'em by the pussy," tweeted that he will "[take] care of pre-existing conditions!"

The amendment also reads, "Nothing in this Act shall be construed as permitting health insurance issuers to discriminate in rates for health insurance coverage by gender."
