This week, global finance criminals Morgan Stanley published a report warning investors that a victory for Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party would be worse for its fortunes than even the most shambolic, bungled Brexit (which the Tories are on track to deliver).
Other bankers have anonymously told reporters that the finance industry fears Corbyn more than a nuclear exchange between North Korea and the USA.
Yesterday, Corbyn wrote back to the bank, tweeting, "When bankers like Morgan Stanley say we’re a threat, they’re right. The next Labour Government is a threat to a damaging and failed system that’s rigged for the few."
One senior executive at a top U.S. investment bank said that at a meeting in New York recently concerns over Corbyn trumped concerns about Brexit.
“Their top concern was not what’s happening in Germany and Spain, or North Korea and Trump: their main concern was what’s happening in the UK and what Corbyn might mean for the country,” the executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
