The ACLU's Josh Bell just wrapped up a livestreamed training session for students on their free speech rights and then released the video and slides; these are a great complement to the ACLU's existing know your rights guide for public school students.
Josh writes: "The training covered various ways that the First Amendment protects students' rights to express their views. It also included what schools can and can't do when it comes to disciplining students for various actions, like posting on social media, walkouts, and wearing clothing with slogans."
