Photographer shreds her work then weaves it back together again

Lala Abaddon takes her lovely photos and cuts them into long strips, then weaves them with another set of strips to create striking geometric patterns.

Via Art Report:

Lala states, "Often I will sit up to 14 hours a day, weaving my work together. This piece could take up to 24 hours. It's a project I have been wanting to do since I very first began weaving my photographs." The performance will then result in a site-specific installation and the documentation of the time-elapsed,
