Slovenian artist Kaja Upelj moved to London for school, where she has been creating interesting experimental glass works with unusual colorations and deliberate occlusions.
For her, designing with glass is an adventure because its dimensions are vast and full of discoveries. She began her journey in 2012 in Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, where she finished her BA. Kaja is currently completing her MA in Ceramics and Glass in Royal College of Art. Her artwork expresses her and her achievement of the material.
