"I view it as an illegal investigation.
"I'm not saying anything—I'm just telling you this: You read the great scholars, the great legal—there should have never been a special counsel," Trump told @margarettalev and me, referring to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe.

"I'm not saying anything—I'm just telling you this: You read the great scholars, the great legal—there should have never been a special counsel," Trump told Margaret Talev and Jennifer Jacobs of Bloomberg News.
Asked whether he'd comply with a subpoena from Mueller to answer questions, Trump told reporters, "I'll see what happens."
"I view it differently. I view it as an illegal investigation" because "great scholars" have said that "there never should have been a special counsel," the president said.
