No doubt the unofficial "Gay Days" at Disneyland and Walt Disney World inspired the resorts' new retro "Wear it Proud" line of clothing, accessories, and platform Crocs. I spotted the following pieces from the collection in Downtown Disney on my recent trip to Disneyland. As I sat down to write this post, I found Disney's official announcement, which is amusing:
Are you a dancing queen or a disco king? This new Disney Parks Wear It Proud Collection will take you right back to the ’70s, whether you were around in that decade or not! The wide assortment of apparel in fun, vibrant colors has something for every hippie at heart!
Wait, "hippie at heart.."? None of this looks "hippie" to me. LOL. Whatever. The collection is fun — love the contrasting red/blue colorway in this one shirt:
And the striped trim on this tank top (better image here):
But these platform Crocs though -- wuht.
See more of the collection at shopDisney.com. Styles are available in both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World patterns.

People in China can’t wait to enter the Magic Kingdom now that coronavirus deaths in that country have declined.
Attractions Magazine shared this clip of the voice actor behind Disney’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the late Dallas McKennon, talking about recording the gig. Last Sunday, the Disney Parks Blog shared the recipe for Churro Tots, which is based on their in-park, cinnamon-y snack: Crazy fact: Over 5.5 million churros were sold at Disney Parks […]
Virus quarantines and shuttered restaurants sent millions of Americans back to their homes, only to rediscover the joys of firing up an oven and cooking something special for themselves. Whether by desire, necessity, or both, many of us have certainly been spending more time in the kitchen these last few months. And we haven’t just […]
Now that the world is starting to re-emerge from its self-imposed COVID-19 quarantine, we’re all going to have to start making some adjustments to both short-term and long-term changes. And the questions… Should customers be hounded out of a store if they aren’t wearing a face mask? Are crocheted face masks safe or not? And […]
Maybe you had a piano teacher as a kid that drove you off the instrument forever. Or maybe you always wished for some serious training, but never found the time. Whether you have dreams of tossing off a Beethoven or Chopin piece at the drop of a hat or you have visions of being the […]
