Seattle's iconic Roq La Rue art gallery is holding a Halloween Online Costume Contest. Get freaky! There are cash prizes and the esteemed panel of judges include artists artists Mark Ryden and Marion Peck, filmmaker Jovanka Vuckovic, horror hostess Isabella Price, and musician Nick 13 from Tiger Army. All proceeds from sponsorships support the Mara Elephant Project and Bat World Sanctuary. Roq La Rue's Kirsten Anderson writes:
Roq La Rue has created a space to exhibit your costumes by submitting your costume online, have fun, and share your creations with other like minded people. But as an extra treat, we have asked an array of fun and notable guest judges to help pick the ultimate 6 winners for a small cash prize as well as glory and bragging rights. Eligible submissions will be divided up equally and randomly distributed to judges to vote on . We are excited about technical skill, but more excited about the spirit of creativity more than anything else – so if you have a great idea don't worry about perfection – just have fun!
