Steve Ditko (1927-2018) is best known for being the co-creator and artist of the Marvel Comics superheroes Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. He's less well-known for his Ayn Randian character, Mr. A, who made his debut in 1967.
Strange Brain Parts says of Mr. A, "Even at a casual glance one can easily determine that Mr. A is not a traditional comic book hero. He neither has superpowers nor an origin story… There's no inciting incident. There's no call to action… There's just some guy with too much free time who is driven by the need to force others to conform to his beliefs concerning proper moral behavior."
Ditko would continue to write and draw Mr. A comics for the rest of his career.
There's a quote attributed to Mark Twain that says "The best cure for Christianity is reading the bible." A similar quote could be "The best cure for Objectivism is reading Mr. A."
