This morning a Minotaur rocket carrying several government satellites was launched from the NASA flight facility on Wallops Island, Virginia.
I wonder what the shared joy of watching a rocket take-off is. I can remember watching launches as far back as the late 70s, and used to love watching the Space Shuttle land at Edwards in the 1980s.
