Hollywood could soon get a wild-looking high-rise, called The Star

MAD Architects, the Chinese firm that designed the ultra-groovy Lucas Museum currently under construction in Los Angeles's Exposition Park, has another far-out building design that developers are hoping to build on the Sunset Strip.

Dubbed The Star, the 22-story, $500-million structure is a "bubble-like world with garden levels open to the elements on the 10th and 17th floors and an enclosed landscaped rooftop with a restaurant, all served by a funicular tram traveling up and down the sides of the tower," according to MSN.
