The bat rescue volunteer behind YouTube's Batzilla the Bat shows us these cute hungry microbat pups, found in Australia, who are waiting to be fed. They "eat their bodyweight in insects every night," the woman in the video says. But even when hungry, they look as placid and sleepy as a litter of newborn kittens.
These particular orphaned critters need to be hand raised, she says on her page, but reminds viewers who might come across a wild bat not to try this themselves. Instead, "please call your local wildlife organisation and a trained and vaccinated volunteer will be sent to safely and humanely rescue the bat."
