Evidently, several species of squid grow larger than human beings, and while the OceanX crew isn't sure which they ran into, they sure ran into a squid… or maybe it ran into them.
After seeing a strange anomaly and quickly dropping an ROV into the water, this group of marine explorers soon spotted a really big squid. The squid then jostled their ROV and sprayed ink.
