California deputy DA who opposed vaccine mandate dies from Covid at age 46

Kelly Ernby, a popular Orange County deputy DA with her sights on the state Assembly in 2022, died after contracting Covid-19. Ernby had been a passionate foe of vaccine mandates. At a Turning Point rally on December 4 she told the crowd, "There's nothing that matters more than our freedoms right now."

She had a dog named Nixon.
