Here's a funny sketch about the video game console war of the 90s

The console wars were serious. Though reaching a peak during the post-Playstation era, battles for console supremacy stretch back to the 80s and 90s. With Sonic the Hedgehog in 1991, Sega began to take aim at industry leader Nintendo with a series of attack ads. As the decade went on, Sega and Nintendo were neck and neck in the race to claim the dwindling attention span of America's youth. Nintendo and Sega engaged in proxy wars across the world's playgrounds, and they weren't pretty.

In the video linked above, the YouTube channel Flashgitz created a hilarious animated sketch that artfully encapsulates the early days of the console wars.
