The Selfie Swing, a playground swing with a built-in compartment for a smartphone, is making the rounds because of a popular TikTok video showing a young boy is smiling while swinging. His mom, Alex at alexjoelenejacobson, writes, "I thought it was a little silly at first, but this will be footage i keep forever…someday he will be grown and I'll really miss moments like this at the park."
The product isn't new. I dug around a little and found the following video from 2018. And it's not the only "selfie" product around. The company behind it, Play&Park Structures, has several Selfie World items in their catalog, all patented, including a face-to-face swing for a kid and their grownup.
