I used to hate Jackie Chan. Bruce Lee was the end-all, be-all of the martial arts world when I was a kid, and Jackie Chan's intentionally playful demeanor rubbed me the wrong. I couldn't stand the idea that Chan wasn't taking the fight seriously, so I disregarded his films for a decade and change. Once I got older and dropped my odd bias, I discovered the grueling nature of Chan's stunts and choreography. Shortly after, all of the elements that I used to loathe in Chan's work became major selling points in my eyes. The fact that Chan was constantly teetering between life and death made the comedic tone of his movies all the more endearing.
Now that I'm on the other side of the fence, it's hard to imagine that anyone would have anything bad to say about Jackie Chan. However, there's a film conceived entirely out of spite for the Kung fun legend. In the video linked above, the YouTube channel Accented Cinema talks about the movie created to diss Jackie Chan.
