Takasugi-an is a stunning teahouse in the sky built by Terunobu Fujimori

Takasugi-an is a teahouse built by architect Terunobu Fujimori. The name Takasugi-an is quite fitting, as it translates to "a teahouse [built] too high." It's located in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The tea house sits on two tall chestnut trees that were brought to the site from a nearby mountain. To go inside, one must climb a free-standing ladder that leans against the entryway of the trees. This teahouse/treehouse is a real-life dream.
