This video clip is one of the best sports visuals of the year—so far. Granted, we're only a few days in, and it is a TV ad from the late 90s promoting hockey on Fox, but I think this will continue to circulate in the world as an essential moment in the emergence of hybrid sports. Whoever trained this actor had to have experience on the ice as the technique was solid, with perfect timing and placement of the shoulder. I wonder if this could be a trend in the matrix.
Could we name this newish sport? Bowlkey, or Hockling. Ok, neither one sound good or useful.
