DPReview is one of the best camera sites on the net, with years of reviews and user comments and a vast database of technical information and photography. Amazon bought it in the 2000s, forgot why, and finally announced it was to close in its latest round of layoffs. Outcry followed, and now it will at least leave the archives up in perpetuity. Archive Team is taking no chances.
